Order Confirmation

You will receive an order confirmation within minutes of placing your order. It is your responsibility to check this for accuracy. If the goods are out of stock then we will not process your order until we have confirmed with you stock availability and delivery date. If the goods are no longer stocked we shall not be liable to find suitable replacements, we will simply cancel your order and not charge your credit card or other method of payment.

Pricing

We endeavour to display correct pricing and description at all times, The Rug Store reserves the right to refuse the sale of mis-described or mis-priced products. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Delivery Schedule

Goods are normally shipped within 7-10 working days to UK mainland. Delivery cost  is free and included in the price for all UK mainland.  You will be required to sign for your delivery, and deliveries are made any time between 8am – 6pm. You will need to make sure you will be present during these hours or a redelivery charge may be applied.

All North Ireland, Isle of Wight, Eire, IOM, The Channel Isle’s and the following postcodes AB,DD,FK,IV,KW,PA and PH have a size/weight limit of 12 x 9 (3.66 x 2.74) or 50kgs. Anything above this size/weight will incur an extra delivery fee, which you will be advised of before your order is processed.

For goods which are too large for standard carriers to take – goods over 10’ wide and over 60kgs the delivery time will be extended.

Potential Consequences Loss

Unfortunately errors can occur, particularly with deliveries and we will always do our best to rectify any problems. Unfortunately we cannot take any responsibility for the consequences of late arrival, non arrival or any other problems with your order. 

We use professional couriers to ship each delivery. Each shipment is insured for the full value of the rug. If the item is lost or damaged we will lodge a claim with the insurer to the value of your order.

Cookies are used on this shopping site, but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item. If you have any queries regarding our privacy policy, please contact us at sales@therugstore.co.uk All information gathered including any information given at the time of ordering is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. The information collected will only be used to process your current order. Please note that we do not pass your details on to any other company.

Returns/Refund policy

Our returns policy is simple – Return any goods to us in a unused condition with all labelling attached within 7 days for a full refund to our retail office: Unit 16, Motherwell Business Park, Coursington Road, ML1 1PW

You must arrange for and pay the costs of returning the products and is entirely your responsibility to ensure the safe keeping of the products whilst in your possession. You may also make returns in PERSON to any of our stores without appointment but a receipt must be shown.

We do not refund special order items.
